Recently, I read a post on Facebook in the ASVAB Mastery Study Group that stated, “I passed the ASVAB and I did not study.” This person received a score of 35. I wonder how high his score could have been if he properly prepared.
Your ASVAB and AFQT scores determine enlistment eligibility, job placement, as well as career opportunities within the military. Therefore, a minimum ASVAB and/or AFQT score will not give you the best possible outcome.
Change your mind set. Instead of aiming for the lowest possible score, prepare yourself to obtain the highest possible score. Attempt to reach your maximum potential. Remember you are choosing the military as a career.
Start your new career on the right note. Your brain is a muscle so do not be afraid to use it. Stretch, grow, and learn. These attributes will serve you throughout your military career. Moreover, they will serve you well in life.
