YOU CAN DO
COVID-19 is reshaping our lives and changing the way we live. We are spending more time at home and less time interacting with friends and coworkers. We now communicate with each other via video conferencing, online chats and webinars.
During these trying times, it is important to stay motivated and focused on your goals. You may not be able to visit the gym but you can still workout at home. You may not be able to study in the library but you can create and stick to a study schedule at home. Likewise, this is the perfect time to explore online courses.
Lastly, not being able to eat out gives you the opportunity to prepare and eat healthy foods.
A key component to staying motivated is to become self-disciplined. Preparing for the ASVAB exam is a process that requires a daily commitment. Do not expect to learn or master everything overnight. A concerted effort is needed to reach your goal. You must take charge of your learning.
It is also imperative to monitor and control all negative self-talk. Replace all negative self-talk and doubt with positive self-talk immediately. Remember, if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
